Queen Bean

BTW that photo at the top is of Queen Bean. Also known as the Queen of Beans. She is a semi-feral cat. Meaning that she has never lived inside a house but she considers our yard and our neighbor's yard as her home. She eats here twice a day. She loves to be patted. But resists being picked up and does not allow me to hold her. Yet she is not aggressive. She is the mom cat to two now adult semi-ferals, BeanieGirl and BeanieBro who live outside here too. She dislikes a new cat who arrived recently. She is the most vocal I've ever heard her in her reaction to the presence of the new cat who I think was an indoor cat who has lost his family. Or was dumped. I don't know. I call him Mr. Meow due to his always announcing his arrival for food by meowing repeatedly. Queen Bean and her offspring all hate him. Here is Mr. Meow:
